Getting Around Brisbane

Public transport is a great way to see Brisbane and there are a number of river transport services available
for the intrepid traveller. The City Ferry service with its unparalleled flexibility and access is a great way
to explore the inner city area while the CityCat service provides a convenient and relaxing mode of travel to
the City, Southbank parklands and the University of Queensland. CityCats and ferries operate from 5.50am until
10.30pm every day, tickets can be purchased from bus and ferry operators, most newsagencies and Brisbane City
Council Customer Service Centres. Timetables and schedules for the CityCat and City Ferry services can be obtained
from Queen Street Bus Station Information Centre (Myer Centre), Garden City bus interchange and Brisbane City
Council Customer Service Centres.
